Destiny Spa Pacific – (Cabo San Lucas)

(1/5) Terrible. I started going here 8 years ago and today will be my last time. Massage went up from $20 to $30 in the last year or two…ok, inflation, 50% increase…but I was basically being lathered in oil and could not feel anything. I asked for a more firm massage and she said “deep tissue is $40/h”. That was never the caee before, I’d been there 30+ times. She even recognized me (Justina). I had to reassure her I did want deep tissue, to which all I got was elbowed all over my body (even elbows on my feet!). Absolutely NOT a deep tissue massage. She seemed upset, unwilling, like she was having a bad day. At this price point and the lack of a proper technique Destiny Spa is just not worth it.

(3/5) Can’t beat the prices here! Massage bed not the most comfortable, but for the price for a decent massage wasn’t too bad… could have been more pressure but I didn’t ask, but she didn’t talk at all….

(5/5) The resorts are selling massages for approx $220 USD or more. Whilst that might be nice for a once off and a very comforting experience, we don’t justify that price. We found a massage place selling 70 minute massage for only $19.99!! It was a nice and relaxing massage and they adjusted the pressure when asked. They do also do cheap manicure and pedicures.

(5/5) The massage was great! Very good technique and great flow, pretty much professional grade. There was noise from the road and traffic, but I did block it out in my mind so it didn't bother me. The room was divided with curtains which is fine for me, I have been to similar establishments in the US. The sheets were clean and overall the place felt clean. It was a great massage for a great price and I recommend it if you are not looking for ambiance! (By the way we were 3 people and we all enjoyed our massage with different therapists.)

(1/5) Went here with our 13 and 15 year old and none of us had a good massage. Most of them were too deep in all the wrong places . None of them did a consultation to ask us what we want or need and they never check in with you. We wouldn’t recommend you waste your money.. we travel a lot and get massages every where we go and these were not good . They need more training .

(1/5) Hands down the worst massage I’ve ever gotten. She had zero clue what she was doing. She kept doing the same motion over and over on the same spot. Which is beyond annoying. I had to ask for firmer pressure several times. For her to move onto the next place. More oil as she was rubbing dry skin. I’d expect more out of a toddler. It’s apparent my masseuse did not go to school as she didn’t have a clue what she was doing. The AC is loud. The fans are loud. They had Native American chanting for the music. I booked a 2 hour and had her stop well in advance- they attempted to charge me for the full 2. There would be breaks in the massage for her to leave the room. It was just the worst. Incredibly unprofessional. Do not waste your time or money here.

(5/5) This is exactly what it promised to be! A clean, inexpensive 70 minute massage for $40! My therapist was neat and tidy and wonderfully skilled, the room had a nice big fan and pretty soft music! We were there a year ago and we’re pleased to see they still had same level of professionalism and skill! We will return!
